handbrake-cli software package provides versatile DVD ripper and video transcoder (command line), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install handbrake-cli
handbrake-cli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the handbrake-cli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep handbrake-cli *
You will get with handbrake-cli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
